We manufacture all over the world, including the UK. Often, the location of manufacturing will depend on where the cloth can be sourced. We will always try to manufacture in the same country the cloth is sourced from, as this reduces global transport and therefore carbon emissions.
The Golden Age of Menswear (1920-1960) is generally considered the greatest era of men's clothing and we are directly inspired by the apparel from this time. We then offer items inspired by this era but with our unique twist and in fabrics carefully selected by us.
We only use 100% natural fibres in our garments, from fabrics like cotton to wool to linen. No man-made materials.
Our suit trousers arrive unfinished, enabling you to have them amended to your leg length and with a turnup of your choice. We do this to provide choice to you, our customer, as everyone has a different leg length and turnup preference.
Our jeans have had one wash already so there will be very little shrink with a wash. Order by your waist size.
Yes we ship all over the world with different couriers. To find out the shipping cost to your country, please see at the checkout after inputting your address.
For a long time we tried to cover these additional costs, but recently we have stopped pre-paying EU duties and taxes. It is up to your government to calculate and levy these fees onto you, depending on the value of the items purchased. Once paid, your order will be swiftly processed and delivered to you.
UK orders will typically arrive in 2-4 business days. US orders will typically arrive in 3-5 business days. EU and EEA orders will typically arrive in 3-5 business days. Orders outside of these regions may arrive in 5-7 business days. During sale periods, the above times may be slightly longer.
Please email us at help@cathcartlondon.com if you wish to amend your order. Note, once we have shipped your order it cannot be amended.

Once we receive your order, we begin by booking your cloth of choice. This is then forwarded to the tailor, who will begin by creating a unique pattern based on your measurements. When ready, the cloth will be cut and the suit assembled, followed by rigorous quality inspections. The suit will be then dispatched to us, and then shortly thereafter to you. The total time from the order placed to delivery at your door is 5-7 weeks.
