During the 1950s, as new fabrics were introduced, ties were increasingly made from man-made fabrics, meaning they could be easily washed and pressed without losing their shape. However, they were still made to earlier patterns, meaning they are have the look of ties from the 1930s/1940s, but are more readily available for the vintage enthusiast wishing to increase their tie collection. Each selection of ties is designed to give the buyer a selection of colours and styles.
