The ‘British Warm’ overcoat is one of the most traditional British overcoat designs. It was a style that was originally made for British Army officers – hence the epaulettes - before becoming popular as a civilian coat in the second half of the 20th Century. The look was so distinctive that filmmakers used it as a way of showing that a character was a former army officer. The coat is made in a heavyweight olive-green cavalry twill that will keep out the coldest winter.
