Here are three vintage British silk ties from the 1940s/1950s. This selection of ties is designed to give the buyer a selection of colours and styles. The burgundy tie is the star of this selection: it’s a brocade silk tie, made in Italy, which most likely dates from the 1920s/1930s. The silver tie was made by the British brand ‘Supreme’ and dates from the 1940s/early 1950s. The polka dot tie does not have any markings but is of British-style construction and most likely dates from the 1940s/1950s.
