British 1940s/1950s double-breasted suit jacket in a medium weight grey wool. Made for the highly regarded British menswear brand ‘Alexandre’, based in London’s Oxford Street, this jacket was originally part of a suit. However, in the mid-20th Century stylish men often combined suit jackets with contrasting flannel trousers, in particular for a relaxed look when on holiday.
