This suit has an example of the distinctive earlier style of shawl-collar dinner jacket, with the broad shawl, that was favoured from the 1920s to the 1950s. The jacket has functioning cuffs. The trousers have distinctive pleats: the inner pleat faces inwards and the outer pleat faces outwards.

Trousers – Waist = 36 inches(the waist appears to have been let out by 3 inches)/Inside leg = 28.5 inches (with 1.5 inches to let down)/Front rise = 15 inches/Rear Rise = 21 inches
